The Port of Algeciras is a commercial, fishing and passenger port. Algeciras is part of the province of Cadiz, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. Its port is of great strategic importance due to its location, as it is close to the Strait of Gilbraltar. It is the largest port in Spain and in the entire Mediterranean. Moreover, the terminal is equipped to receive large cargo and has the capacity to respond to Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
