It is located in Andalusia and its exact origin is unknown, as the last findings in the area date back to 3000 BC. As the capital of the province, it has the main services of the area and is an important tourist centre.

Parking in Huelva

Huelva is a port city in southwestern Spain, capital of the province of Homonia, and belongs to the community of Andalusia. It lies at the mouth of the Tinto and Odiel rivers above the Gulf of Cadiz, situated almost on the border of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Huelva is known for having been the starting point of Christopher Columbus on his first voyage during the era of maritime exploration in 1492.

Parking areas in Huelva

If you are going to the city it is worth paying attention to the controlled parking areas, as well as their rates and time limits. Who regulates parking is the ORA, so in case of non-compliance fines will be charged.

There are blue and orange zones which work Monday to Friday: from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. Saturdays: from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sundays and public holidays parking is free.

The city of Huelva

Huelva is characterized by its extensive beaches, the landscape of pine and juniper trees and villages of fishing character are part of the touristic Costa de la Luz. Its coastline reaches as far as the Doñana National Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Like any city in Andalusia, it is incredible for the culture and history it represents and for its gastronomy. You cannot miss the Monastery of La Rábida, the Marismas del Odiel, the Muelle de las Caraibas and the Muelle de Riotinto, reflections of the maritime identity, and the wonderful beaches.
