The Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara offers you one of the best views of the incredible Portuguese capital. It is situated at the top of the Glória lift, at one of the extremities of Bairro Alto, in the parish of Misericórdia. Built in 1864, it allows you to contemplate the entire Avenida da Liberdade, Baixa, Restauradores, São Jorge Castle Hill and the viewpoint of Graça Church. The particularity of the São Pedro viewpoint is that it is part of the Alcântara gardens, making it the largest viewpoint in the whole of Lisbon. The garden is a pleasant and very well kept garden, with a fountain and statues. To get to the viewpoint you can take the lift to Glória from Praça dos Restauradores.
