The Sports Palace of the Regional Community of Madrid, called Centro WiZink since 2016 for sponsorship reasons, was created in 1960 before being destroyed by fire in 2001 and reopened in 2005. It has a capacity of 17,643 seats making it one of the largest venues in Spain.

Centro WiZink and its main events.

The Centro WiZink is a venue that mainly hosts sports events. In particular, it is an important venue for Spanish basketball having hosted the Copa del Rey finals in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2019 and 2021.

It has also achieved worldwide fame having hosted the EuroLeague 2015 finals and the Basketball World Cup in 2014.
