The commune of Rueil-Malmaison located in the Paris’ West, in the department of Hauts-de-Seine, near Nanterre, Suresnes or Saint-Cloud is part of the large agglomeration of Paris. Its name would come from a barn of the parish of Rueil named “mauvaise maison” (bad house) due to the presence of Vikings who would have settled on this domain. Because of its location, the city is very connected with the French capital by many means. It is directly connected to the RER A, a line linking the east to the west of Paris and reaching the Disneyland Paris Park. Rueil-Malmaison is also connected to no less than 14 RATP bus lines, not to mention the additional departmental and regional lines. There are 3 different types of zones in Rueil-Malmaison, the red zone limiting parking to 1h15 and applying the highest rates, the orange zone encouraging parking up to 2h30 and the green zone allowing long term parking up to 8h30 and applying the lowest rates.
