Santander is the capital of the region of Cantabria, on the north coast of Spain. Undoubtedly one of the most elegant and beautiful cities on the north coast of Spain and the perfect vacation destination.

The city is both sea and mountain, captivating with its majestic atmosphere, 19th century buildings, charming rice terraces and a picturesque bay, considered one of the most beautiful in the world.

The Magdalena Palace is located at the entrance of Santander Bay, on the rocky peninsula of La Magdalena. During the summer, the building serves as a royal residence.

To the west, in the center of the city, is the Santander Cathedral, with its octagonal dome and Gothic cloister, and nearby you can walk along the promenade that runs through all the Pereda gardens.

Public parking in Santander

You may be visiting Santander and want to enjoy the city on foot, but you may be wondering where to leave your car.

As you have already seen, there is the option of parking your car on the street, but this may not be the safest, so another alternative is to park your car in a guarded parking lot.

If you do not plan to park during the weekend, whether in a public or private parking lot or on the street, it will cost you just in any of this cases.

The difference between all options, as mentioned above, is that on-street parking is limited.

Therefore, we recommend you to book a parking lot and leave your car in the hands of professionals. This way you can also have more flexibility with your plans and enjoy the beautiful city of Santander.

Reserve your place online through Parkimeter.
