Parking in Turin

If you spend your vacations in Turin or travel for work and decide to use your car, parking in Turin can be a real challenge. If you book a hotel, you should find out if it is one of the hotels with customer parking and what would be the cost of this service, and then compare it with the prices of private parking in Turin.

Long-term parking

If you are staying in Turin for several weeks, you will most likely prefer to find long-term parking, commonly known as low-cost parking. It is advisable to use this option if you decide not to use your car so frequently. This way you will use public transportation, in particular we recommend you to use the Turin metro at least once, it is one of the most innovative in Europe.

Public parking in Turin

If you opt for parking near your residence, Turin enjoys a good distribution of public parking lots. However, it is not the same to find parking near the historic center, near Mole Antonelliana, Piazza Castello, Via Roma, Via Garibaldi. Moreover, some areas of the city center are part of the ZTL of Turin. For this reason it is advisable to make a reservation in advance with Parkimeter.

Limited traffic zone

This car park is located within the area known as the Central Restricted Traffic Zone of Turin, active from 7.30am to 10.30 am every weekday (Saturday excluded) where traffic and parking are prohibited (Highway Code art. 158). To be exempt from penalties, simply fill in a form that the parking staff will provide to its customers. In this way the cameras that control the access to the ZTL will have your licence plate number.
