The José Zorrilla Stadium was created in 1982 and replaced the old stadium with the same name, in honour of the famous Spanish poet. It has been the official stadium of the Real Valladolid football team since its creation and offers 27,846 seats to the club's supporters.
As the stadium is located in Valladolid and attracts a large number of fans to each match, it can be difficult to find a parking space to get there. This is why we always recommend that you find out in advance and plan your parking before your visit.
You can find the different options available for reservations on the Parkimeter website by clicking here.
The club was founded in 1928 and became a very important club in the Spanish first football league, La Liga, having played in the first division for 46 seasons. The club has qualified for the first division for the 2022-2023 season with its new president since 2018, Ronaldo.
The José Zorrilla stadium is the 22nd largest in Spain and the largest in its region, Castila y León. It has hosted major events such as the 1982 Copa del Rey final and matches at the 1982 World Cup.
