It is directly adjacent to the French capital and is also the direct neighbour of Boulogne-Billancourt to the northwest. Because of its proximity to Paris, Issy-les-Moulineaux is very well connected, particularly by transport, being linked to line 12 of the Paris metro and to the RER C. By road, on the other hand, the town is not connected to any major roads but only to several departmental roads. With more than 67.000 inhabitants, Issy-les-Moulineaux represents a real business area, partly due to its proximity to Paris.
