When driving on the A1 motorway, take the exit called "Flughafen." If you are in the city center, you can drive from Neutor via Maxglaner Hauptstrasse and Innsbrucker Bundesstraße (B1) and take the Salzburg Airport exit.

Getting to Salzburg Airport by Public Transport

Probably the easiest way to reach the airport by public transportation is by taking the bus, as it takes no more than 20 minutes and you can easily bring your luggage on board. Bus number 2 operates daily every 15 or 20 minutes between Salzburg Central Station and the airport. On Sundays and public holidays, it runs every 20 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes.

Bus number 10 runs Monday to Saturday and departs every 15 minutes from the airport towards Salzburg city center. The journey takes around 15 minutes.

If you only stay for an hour, prices range between 2.80 and 3.30 euros per hour, depending on the parking lot you choose.

For every additional 10 minutes, a fee of 3.90€ will be charged. Remember not to lose the ticket, as without it you will be charged the daily rate, which is much more expensive.
